The Observatory has selected interesting and practical videos and articles from "Cool Met Stuff" and the "Educational Resources" webpage and developed 80 quiz worksheets (in Chinese) covering different topics on the "Resources Depository (Science Education)"of the Hong Kong Education City's online platform. New Book Recommendation: More than a Silver Lining
The Hong Kong Meteorological Society has published a new book, More than a Silver Lining – Deciphering the Clouds and Atmospheric Optical Phenomena (in Chinese). It features nearly 200 photos of the most spectacular and special images of clouds and atmospheric optical phenomena taken all over the world. The majority of the photos are masterpieces taken by Community Weather Observing Scheme (CWOS) group members, showing the beauty of nature. (More……)
