Multi-language "International Cloud Atlas"
On 9 April, five official languages of the United Nations (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) were added to the "International Cloud Atlas" (ICA) website, the English version of which was developed by the Observatory on behalf of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). (More……)
"Dr Tin" Chatbot Supports English Dialogues
Studious "Dr Tin" has learned a new language, and can now respond to queries in Chinese or English! "Dr Tin" will now respond to queries according to the user's language setting on "MyObservatory".(More……)
Real-time Weather Photos at Kau Sai Chau
The Observatory recently installed a camera in the Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Course. This not only observes weather in the vicinity of Kau Sai Chau and Yim Tin Tsai, but also provides a distant view of the weather situation over Sai Kung town and Ma On Shan paragliding area, offering useful information to visitors and paragliding enthusiasts.
