Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Meeting on Cooperation in Meteorological Operations

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao (GHM) Meeting on Cooperation in Meteorological Operations was held in the World Meteorological Centre Beijing Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Branch, Guangzhou, on 13 March 2025. In the meeting, the parties not only reviewed the progress of their work and discussed plans for future cooperation, but also celebrated the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the GHM Lightning Location Network. During GMH Seminars on Meteorological Science and Technology held in the afternoons of 13 and 14 March, GMH meteorological experts presented multiple papers on topics spanning summaries and analyses of weather events, applications of artificial intelligence, and high-impact weather forecasting and forecast technologies.
