Delegation from Civil Aviation Authority of the Sultanate of Oman visits the Hong Kong Observatory

Mr Mansoor Hilal Said AL Shabibi, Head of Aviation Forecasting of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Sultanate of Oman (CAA Oman), led a five-strong delegation to visit the Hong Kong Observatory from 21 to 25 October 2024. During the visit, the delegation attended a training workshop organised by the Observatory on aeronautical meteorological forecasting, and had an attachment at the Airport Meteorological Office. The parties also discussed plans to strengthen future collaboration between CAA Oman and the Observatory, and to facilitate further technical exchanges between the two parties.
