Gamma-Go Award Presentation Ceremony
With the support of the Education Bureau, the Observatory held the award presentation ceremony of the Gamma-Go Award Scheme. Besides receiving the certificates and souvenirs, the winning teams of the Distinction Awards could experience the work of the Observatory through 3-day job shadowing. (More……)
Workshop on Weather Information for Paragliding
The Observatory held a workshop on weather information for paragliding with the Hong Kong Paragliding Association (HKPA). During the workshop, Observatory colleagues gave presentations to 25 HKPA members on the Weather Information for Aviation Sports webpage, covering the formation of low-level clouds, application of tephigrams, and cumulonimbus and thunderstorm development and forecasting.
