The Observatory participated in inter-departmental drill for emergency response to flooding in Tai O
Every year, the Observatory participates in the inter-departmental simulated rescue and evacuation drill for serious flooding in Tai O. This year’s drill was successfully completed during both sunshine and showers. Relevant departments, groups and residents revisited the emergency response arrangements, and improved their ability to respond to severe flooding. (More……)
The Observatory signed MOU on Cooperation with Solomon Islands Meteorological Service
The Hong Kong Observatory signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Cooperation with the Solomon Islands Meteorological Service (SIMS), to enhance collaboration and exchanges in aeronautical meteorological science and technologies. (More……)
