Hong Kong Observatory Participates in Joint Working Group Meeting of Asian Aviation Meteorological Center

The 12th Joint Working Group Meeting of the Asian Aviation Meteorological Center (AAMC) was held in Zhuhai on 8 May 2026. The meeting gathered nearly 40 representatives from the Air Traffic Management Bureau of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC ATMB), the China Meteorological Administration, and the Hong Kong Observatory.

The three parties shared progress with their work and operational statuses, and strengthened collaboration in aviation meteorology through joint research studies, data sharing, and coordinated meteorological services, thereby contributing to safer and more efficient aviation across the region.
