Gridded weather forecasts and visibility observations now available on the “Weather Website for Greater Bay Area”
The Observatory enhanced the “Weather Website for Greater Bay Area (GBA)” with the addition of more than 600 grid boxes across the GBA to provide 3-hourly or 6-hourly forecasts of weather, temperatures, relative humidity, wind direction and wind speed for the next few days. (More……)
The Observatory actively participates in anti-pandemic work
The Hong Kong Observatory together with the Intellectual Property Department (IPD) and Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) mobilised their manpower to participate in anti-epidemic work. Over 200 staff from the three departments conducted “restriction-testing declaration” (RTD) operations at restricted areas in March and early April. (More……)
