“Regional Weather” webpage gets new look, plus new iOS version of “MyObservatory”

he Hong Kong Observatory launched the “Hong Kong Regional Weather Information Platform” webpage on 23 December 2025, giving the “Regional Weather” webpage a new look, making it convenient for the public to check past, present, and future weather at weather stations in Hong Kong, as well as weather photos, rainfall maps, and nowcasting of rainfall and lightning.

In addition, the Observatory has also launched a new version of “MyObservatory”. Users can now add the “MyObservatory” widget to their phone’s lock screen. They can check the latest weather information at any time without unlocking the screen, including real-time weather conditions and automatic weather forecasts near the users’ location. Users are welcome to download “MyObservatory” from the App Store and experience the widget function.
