Hong Kong Observatory hosts Pearl River Delta Aviation Meteorology Working Group meeting

The Hong Kong Observatory hosted the 16th meeting of the Pearl River Delta Working Group on Aviation Meteorology on 27 and 28 November 2025. The meeting brought together representatives from the Aviation Meteorology Centre and the Middle South Regional Air Traffic Management Bureau of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau, and the Observatory to discuss the latest developments in aviation meteorology and outline key priorities for the coming year. The participants unanimously agreed to strengthen aviation weather forecasting capabilities through innovative technologies and regional collaboration, to support safe and efficient flight operations in the region.
