Under the intermediate (SSP2-4.5) and very high (SSP5-8.5) greenhouse gas emissions scenarios, the annual minimum temperature in Hong Kong in 2081-2100 is projected to increase by about 2.5℃ and 4.2℃ respectively, compared to the average of 1995-2014 (7.9℃, at the reference station Hong Kong Observatory).
