Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. Showers and thunderstorms associated with a broad trough of low pressure are affecting the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Locally, around 30 millimetres of rainfall were recorded over many places in the past couple of hours. Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight Mainly cloudy with occasional showers and a few squally thunderstorms. Moderate to fresh south to southwesterly winds, occasionally strong on high ground. Outlook : A few showers over the weekend. More showers on Monday. Showers will ease off gradually in the following couple of days.
