Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. An anticyclone aloft is covering the northern part of the South China Sea and the coast of Guangdong. Meanwhile, thundery showers triggered by high temperatures are affecting inland Guangdong. Besides, an area of low pressure is bringing unsettled weather to the seas east of the Philippines. At 8 p.m., Tropical Storm Lingling was centred about 10 kilometres northeast of Kagoshima. It is forecast to move east at about 10 kilometres per hour across the vicinity of Kyushu of Japan. Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow Mainly fine. The minimum temperature will be about 28 degrees tomorrow morning. Very hot during the day with a maximum temperature of around 34 degrees. Isolated showers later. Light winds. Outlook : Mainly fine and very hot during the day on Saturday. Windier with occasional squally showers later and on Sunday. There will be swells. Still a few showers early next week.
