Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. A southerly airstream is bringing very hot weather to the coast of southern China. Locally, temperatures over many places in the New Territories rose to about 33 degrees around noon. Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight Very hot with sunny periods and isolated showers in the afternoon. Mainly cloudy tonight. Light to moderate southerly winds. Outlook : Sunny periods in the next couple of days, very hot during the day. A few showers during the weekend, winds will become moderate northeasterly. Temperatures will fall slightly early next week.
