Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. The subtropical ridge brought generally fine weather to Guangdong yesterday. Locally, the weather was fine. It was very hot during the day. Temperatures over parts of the territory rose to about 34 degrees in the afternoon. The subtropical ridge is expected to continue affecting Guangdong today. Under the influence of an upper-air disturbance, there will be showers and thunderstorms over the coast of Guangdong in the next couple of days. Weather forecast for Hong Kong It will be fine. The minimum temperature will be about 28 degrees in the morning. Very hot during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 34 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Light winds. Outlook : A few showers and sunny intervals in the following couple of days. The weather will be unsettled with more showers and squally thunderstorms in the latter part of this week.
