Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. Areas of intense thundery showers associated with an active southerly airstream are affecting the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Weather forecast for today Cloudy with showers and a few squally thunderstorms. Showers will be heavy at times at first. The maximum temperature will be around 29 degrees. Moderate to fresh southerly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground. Outlook : Windy with a few showers on Tuen Ng Festival. Sunny periods in the afternoon. Becoming very hot during the weekend to early next week.
