Launching a New iOS Version of "MyObservatory" with Several New Features

The Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) launched a new version (v5.0) of the "MyObservatory" on iOS platform today (4 May 2015). The new version adopts a newly designed user interface, supporting automatic or custom positioning for retrieval of weather report at that location. In addition, users can add a number of favourite locations to easily view the weather conditions at multiple locations. The new version is also enhanced with new contents including Earthquake Information, Marine Forecast, and Educational Resources.
In addition to iOS platform, the "MyObservatory" also supports Android and Windows Phone mobile devices. The "MyObservatory" is a highly popular weather mobile app with more than 4.8 million copies downloaded so far.
