New Information and Services on MyObservatory app

In the past few months, the Observatory has added new information and services to the “MyObservatory” app, including the “Meteorological Information for Fishermen” and “Weather Information for Aviation Sports” pages, which provide interactive automatic weather and sea-state forecasting products, as well as weather forecasts for local aviation, tephigrams, and other information, making it easy for people from various sectors to understand changes in weather and related conditions.

New “Traffic Information” layer on the “Location-based Rainfall and Lightning Forecast” page

In addition, a “Traffic Information” layer is included on the “Location-based Rainfall and Lightning Forecast” page, showing forecast traffic conditions of strategic / major roads in Hong Kong, to help users better understand the impact of weather on road traffic.
