This year, the Observatory has launched weather-related QR codes on information boards of some country parks. By simply scanning them, hikers can obtain the latest weather information, including 2-hour rainfall and 1-hour lightning nowcasts for nearby hiking routes. In addition, the new “Hong Kong Hiking Trail Weather Service” features a hiking route planning function. Try it out!
