On 13 February, the Observatory launched a music video (MV) of the song "Climate and Life", to enhance public's awareness on climate change.
Climate change is a challenge of the world now, and it affects everyone of us. Through the MV, the Observatory hopes to raise public awareness on the issue of climate change, and encourage everyone to act now to save energy and reduce carbon emissions. The song "Climate and Life" was jointly produced by the Observatory and a local singer. Mr Shun Chi-ming, the then Director of the Observatory, and the Observatory's mascot, “Dr Tin”, also made their appearance in the MV. Students from a local tertiary institution have also participated in its production.
