Projections of extremely hot days, extremely warm-and-humid days, extremely wet and extremely dry years for Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Observatory used the climate model data from the Sixth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and adopted contemporary statistical methods to update projections of extremely hot days, extremely warm-and-humid days, extremely wet and extremely dry years for Hong Kong in the 21st century. With unabating greenhouse gas emissions, the annual number of extremely warm-and-humid days and extremely hot days are expected to increase significantly in the 21st century. In addition, the numbers of extremely wet and extremely dry years are expected to increase throughout this century.
