MyObservatory won the Certificate of Merit in the Asia Smart App Awards 2020

"MyObservatory" won the Certificate of Merit prize in the category "Public Sector Distinction" of the Asia Smart App Award 2020. The Asia Smart App Award was organised by the Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA) sponsored by the Create Hong Kong Office of the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The award aims at recognising the excellence of innovative smart app development and providing a sharing platform for the smart app developers in the Asian regions to further encourage the development of smart app.

The "MyObservatory" is a personalized weather app providing a suite of weather services. The MyObservatory continues to be innovative with new functions. A chatbot was recently added to support weather enquiry in an interactive mode. The app is highly popular and has been downloaded more than 8 million times.
