Weather Situation: At 6 p.m., Tropical Storm Mitag with maximum sustained winds of about 85 kilometres per hour near its centre was located at 23.0 degrees north, 115.1 degrees east. It is forecast to move west-northwest slowly towards the vicinity of the Pearl River Estuary. Area forecasts for the next 24 hours Hong Kong Adjacent Waters: Northwest force 7 to 8, up to force 9 at first. Frequent heavy squally showers and thunderstorms. Rough to very rough seas, high at first. Nan'ao: South to southeast force 6 to 7, up to force 8 at first. Frequent heavy squally showers and thunderstorms. Rough seas, very rough at first.
