Warnings:
Severe squally thunderstorms in Hong Kong adjacent waters.
Strong winds in all areas.
Weather Situation:
Unsettled weather associated with the southwest monsoon and
a trough of low pressure is affecting the coastal waters of
Guangdong. Meanwhile, severe squally thunderstorms are
affecting the vicinity of the Pearl River Estuary.
Area forecasts for the next 24 hours
Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
Southwest force 4 to 5, occasionally force 6, gusts
occasionally up to force 10 at first.
Occasional heavy showers and severe squally thunderstorms.
Rough seas.
Nan'ao, Shanwei, South of Hong Kong and Shangchuan Dao:
Southwest force 4 to 5, occasionally force 6.
Occasional heavy showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.
