Warnings:
Strong winds in all areas.

Weather Situation:
At noon, Severe Tropical Storm Wipha with maximum sustained
winds of about 90 kilometres per hour near its centre was
located at 21.1 degrees north, 109.5 degrees east, it is
forecast to move west-southwest at about 14 kilometres per
hour across Beibu Wan.

Area forecasts for the next 24 hours

Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
Southeast force 4 to 5, occasionally force 6.
Occasional heavy showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.

Nan'ao and Shanwei:
South to southeast force 4 to 5, occasionally force 6.
Occasional showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.

South of Hong Kong:
South to southeast force 4 to 5, occasionally force 6.
Occasional heavy squally showers and thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.

Shangchuan Dao:
South force 4 to 5, occasionally force 6.
Occasional heavy squally showers and thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.

Outlook for the following 48 hours 
South to southeasterly winds of force 4 to 5, occasionally
force 6. Occasional heavy squally showers and thunderstorms.
