The weather will be generally fine and become very hot over the region. Under the influence of a southerly airstream, there will be isolated showers over the coast of Guangdong today. With a trough of low pressure edging closer to the coast of southern China in the latter part of this week, the weather will become unsettled with showers and thunderstorms over the region.
