9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: An anticyclone aloft will continue to bring fine and very hot weather to Guangdong in the next couple of days. An intense northeast monsoon will reach Guangdong on Sunday. An area of low pressure is expected to gradually develop over the seas east of the Philippines in the next couple of days, and edge closer to the vicinity of Luzon over the weekend, with a higher chance of entering the northeastern part of the South China Sea subsequently. However, there are uncertainties in its movement and intensity. Under the combined effect of the northeast monsoon and the low pressure system, it will be windy with a few showers and temperatures will fall appreciably over the coast of southern China early to midweek next week.
