9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: A trough of low pressure will linger over the northern part of the South China Sea in the next couple of days. Meanwhile, a fresh to strong easterly airstream will affect the coast of Guangdong. The easterly airstream is expected to be replaced by a southerly airstream gradually early next week. There will still be showers over the region. With an anticyclone aloft strengthening, the weather will improve and it will be persistently hot over southern China in the middle and latter parts of next week.
