9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: With the northeast monsoon affecting the coast of southern China moderating gradually, the weather will be mainly fine and become very hot over the region in the next couple of days. An anticyclone aloft will cover Guangdong early to midweek next week. Winds will be weak and the weather will be generally fine over the region. It will be extremely hot over inland areas. Another surge of the northeast monsoon is expected to affect southern China in the latter part of next week. There will be a few showers over the region and high temperature weather will be alleviated. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Surigae will intensify gradually and move towards the vicinity of the seas east of Taiwan and Ryukyu Islands in the next couple of days.
