9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: An anticyclone aloft will continue to bring generally fine weather to Guangdong in the next couple of days. It will be extremely hot over inland areas. An intense northeast monsoon is expected to reach the coast of Guangdong on Sunday. Besides, an area of low pressure over the seas east of the Philippines will develop gradually and edge closer to the vicinity of Luzon in the next couple of days, and enter the northeastern part of the South China Sea afterwards. Under the influence of the northeast monsoon, it will turn to a southwesterly track gradually and begin to weaken, but there are uncertainties in the timing and location of the turn. Under the combined effect of the monsoon and the low pressure system, it will be windy with rain and temperatures will fall appreciably over the coast of southern China early to midweek next week.
