9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Tropical Cyclone Wutip will intensify gradually and move in the general direction of Hainan Island today and tomorrow. It will then move towards the vicinity of Leizhou Peninsula. There will be heavy squally showers and thunderstorms over the coast of Guangdong in the latter part of this week. It will be windy with swells. Wutip will move inland afterwards. However, under the influence of an active southerly airstream and upper-air disturbances, there will still be occasional heavy showers and thunderstorms over Guangdong early next week. With the upper-air disturbances departing, showers will ease off gradually over the coast of Guangdong in the middle and latter parts of next week.
