Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. The area of intense thundery showers associated with a trough of low pressure is affecting the northern part of Guangdong and move southeast gradually. It is expected to edge closer to the coastal areas later in the afternoon. Weather forecast for today Mainly cloudy with a few showers. Showers will be heavier at times with squally thunderstorms in the afternoon. Moderate to fresh south to southwesterly winds. Outlook : Occasional showers and thunderstorms tomorrow. Still a few showers and brighter on Monday. Showers will become frequent with thunderstorms on Tuesday and Labour Day.
