Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. Under the influence of an anticyclone aloft, the weather is mainly fine over the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. At 2 a.m., Tropical Depression Hagupit was centred about 870 kilometres east of Manila. It is forecast to move north slowly, lingering over the seas east of the Philippines. Weather forecast for today Mainly cloudy. The minimum temperature will be about 26 degrees in the morning. Hot with sunny periods during the day with a maximum temperature of around 32 degrees. A few showers later. Light to moderate south to southwesterly winds. Outlook : Showers and squally thunderstorms on Thursday and Friday. Showers will be heavy at times. Weather will remain unsettled and windy during the weekend.
