Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. An easterly airstream affected the coast of Guangdong yesterday. A band of clouds also covered the region. Locally, it was mainly cloudy. There were a few rain patches in the morning and at night and bright periods during the day. Under the influence of the easterly airstream, it will still be relatively windy over the coast of southern China today. With the easterly airstream moderating gradually, the weather will improve over the region tomorrow. Besides, Severe Tropical Storm In-fa intensified into a typhoon last night. At 11 p.m. last night, In-fa was centred about 290 kilometres west-southwest of Iwo Jima. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 10 kilometres per hour across the seas south of Japan. Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Wednesday, 4 Nov 2026) Mainly cloudy. One or two rain patches in the morning and at night. Bright periods during the day. Temperatures will range between 25 and 28 degrees. Moderate to fresh easterly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground at first. Outlook : Sunny periods in the following couple of days. Strong easterly winds later on Friday and over the weekend, becoming northerlies with temperatures falling gradually early next week. Temperatures will be around 21 degrees in the morning on Tuesday and Wednesday.
