Warnings:
Severe squally thunderstorms in Hong Kong adjacent waters,
Shanwei and south of Hong Kong.
Weather Situation:
A broad trough of low pressure is bringing unsettled weather
to the coastal waters of Guangdong. Meanwhile, severe
squally thunderstorms are affecting the region.
At 11 p.m., the tropical depression over the East China Sea
with maximum sustained winds of about 45 kilometres per hour
near its centre was located at 28.3 degrees north, 127.3
degrees east. It is forecast to move east-northeast at about
45 kilometres per hour towards the seas south of Japan.

Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
Southwest force 4 to 5, gusts occasionally up to force 10 at
first.
Occasional heavy showers and severe squally thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.
Nan'ao:
South to southwest force 4 to 5.
Occasional heavy showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate seas.
Shanwei and South of Hong Kong:
South to southwest force 4 to 5, gusts occasionally up to
force 10 at first.
Occasional heavy showers and severe squally thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.
Shangchuan Dao:
South to southwest force 4 to 5.
Scattered showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate seas.
Outlook for the following 48 hours
South to southwesterly winds of force 4 to 5, occasionally
force 6, becoming northeasterly winds of up to force 5
later. Occasional heavy showers and squally thunderstorms.
