Warnings:
Strong winds in Nan'ao.
Weather Situation:
An easterly airstream is affecting the coastal waters of
eastern Guangdong.
At 3 a.m., Typhoon Jangmi with maximum sustained winds of
about 120 kilometres per hour near its centre was located at
23.7 degrees north, 127.4 degrees east. It is forecast to
move north at about 18 kilometres per hour towards the
vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands.
Area forecasts for the next 24 hours
Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
South to southeast force 3 to 4.
A few showers and thunderstorms.
Slight to moderate seas.
Nan'ao:
East to northeast force 4 to 5, up to force 6 at first,
becoming south up to force 5.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Moderate seas, rough at first.
Shanwei:
East to northeast force 4, becoming south force 4.

South of Hong Kong and Shangchuan Dao:
