9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: Tropical Cyclone Podul will dissipate gradually over central China tomorrow. However, showers and thunderstorms will still be affecting the coast of southern China. With an anticyclone aloft strengthening, the weather will improve slightly over Guangdong at the weekend. Meanwhile, a broad trough of low pressure will form over the central to northern parts of the South China Sea, and an area of low pressure may develop within the broad trough of low pressure. The area of low pressure is expected to move northwards early next week, bringing unsettled weather to the coast of Guangdong to the vicinity of Beibu Wan. With the low pressure system moving inland and weakening, showers will ease off over the coast of Guangdong midweek next week.
