9-Day Weather Forecast General Situation: An easterly airstream will affect the coast of Guangdong in the next couple of days. Meanwhile, an upper-air disturbance will bring showers and a few thunderstorms to the northern part of the South China Sea. With an anticyclone aloft strengthening gradually, showers will ease off and the weather will improve over Guangdong in the latter part of this week. The weather will be very hot during the day over the region during the weekend to early next week. A broad trough of low pressure is expected to bring unsettled weather to the central part of the South China Sea and the vicinity of the seas near Luzon early to midweek next week. An area of low pressure may develop over the trough of low pressure but there are uncertainties in its movement and its speed of development.
