Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. A southerly airstream is bringing showers and thunderstorms to the coast of Guangdong. Locally, more than 10 millimetres of rainfall were recorded over Lantau Island in the afternoon. Besides, an anticyclone aloft is covering southeastern China gradually. Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow Mainly cloudy. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms at first. Becoming fine tomorrow. The minimum temperature will be about 28 degrees in the morning. Very hot during the day with a maximum temperature of around 33 degrees. Light to moderate southerly winds. Outlook : Mainly fine and persistently very hot in the following couples of days. Sunny periods and also a few showers early next week.
