Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. An easterly airstream is affecting the coast of eastern Guangdong. Besides, showers are affecting inland Guangdong. At 2 a.m., Typhoon Jangmi was centred about 300 kilometres south of Okinawa. It is forecast to move north at about 18 kilometres per hour towards the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands. Weather forecast for today Mainly cloudy with a few showers. Isolated thunderstorms at first. The minimum temperature will be about 27 degrees in the morning. Sunny periods during the day with a maximum temperature of around 32 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Light to moderate south to southeasterly winds. Outlook : Very hot during the day with sunny periods and isolated showers in the following couple of days.
