Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. Showers and thunderstorms associated with Tropical Depression Podul are affecting Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. At 8 p.m., Podul was centred about 320 kilometres south of Changsha. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 28 kilometres per hour moving into central China and continue to weaken. Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow Mainly cloudy with occasional showers and squally thunderstorms. Showers will be heavier in some areas. Temperatures will range between 26 and 30 degrees tomorrow. Moderate to fresh east to southeasterly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground. Outlook : It will be brighter on Saturday. More showers gradually and windy with squalls in the following couple of days.
