Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong
Observatory.

An anticyclone aloft brought generally fine weather to the
coast of southeastern China today. Locally, it was mainly
fine. The weather was very hot in the afternoon.
Temperatures over many places rose to 33 degrees or above.
The maximum temperature recorded at the Observatory was 33.6
degrees, the highest so far this year. Under the influence
of the anticyclone aloft, the weather is expected to be
mainly fine over southern China in the next couple of days.
It will be very hot during the day. Meanwhile, a broad
trough of low pressure will bring unsettled weather to the
central part of the South China Sea to the seas east of the
Philippines.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Sunday, 8 Jun 2025)

Mainly fine. The minimum temperature will be about 28
degrees in the morning. Very hot during the day. The maximum
temperature will be around 33 degrees in the urban areas,
and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Light
to moderate southerly winds.

Outlook : Persistently very hot and mainly fine in the
following couple of days. A few showers in the latter part
of next week.
