Strong Earthquake Report
Initial analysis from the Hong Kong Observatory indicated
that an earthquake of magnitude 6.0 has occurred at 6:59
p.m. on 26 September 2019 (Thursday) (Hong Kong Time) in
Turkey. The epicentre is located near 40.9N, 28.3E, about
69 kilometres west of Istanbul.

Method to use

The product employs the Open GIS standard KML 2.0 (details available at: http://www.opengeospatial.org/standards/kml/). There are quite a number of KML-supported GIS display software. Users can choose the appropriate software (Examples include "Google Earth" ) according to their own needs. Through GIS display software, users can zoom-in and zoom-out the map to better understand the exact location of the epicentre.
