Exposure of Chek Lap Kok Wind Station
The Chek Lap Kok wind station is located near the middle North Runway# of the Hong Kong International Airport at Chek Lap Kok (please see the map below for the location of the wind station). The station has rather good exposure as it is situated on a relatively open flat reclaimed land with no high-rise buildings nearby. High mountain ranges of Lantau are located to its south. The annual wind rose shows the prevailing winds at the station.
