Rainbows over Hong Kong

Rainbows over Hong Kong (30 August 2005)

Rainbows were observed over Victoria Habour after the morning showers on 30 August 2005 (Tuesday). The attached pictures (Figures 1 and 2) were taken around 8 a.m. from the Observatory Headquarters at Tsim Sha Tsui, looking west towards Kowloon Park and western Kowloon.

Some statistics of rainbow observation from 2000 to 2004 are tabulated in Table 1 for reference.
