Under the influence of a humid southerly airstream, it was generally foggy in Hong Kong this morning (Thursday, 17 February 2005). Visibility fell to below 1 km in a number of places (See Table and map below).

A cold front is expected to cross the south China coast later today. Winds will turn northerly and visibility will improve then.
