The lowest temperature this winter 13.9 degrees (30 November 2003)

The northeast monsoon brings rather cool weather to Hong Kong today (30 November). At the Hong Kong Observatory, temperature dropped to 13.9 degrees this morning, the lowest recorded so far this winter. In the New Territories, minimum temperatures were generally in the region of 11 degrees.

The cool weather will persist at night and in the early morning over the next couple of days. The minimum temperature in the urban areas will be about 15 to 16 degrees, and it will be a few degrees lower in the New Territories.
