The Hong Kong Observatory Calendar 2003 is now available for sale to the public. The theme of the Calendar is "Hong Kong Observatory 120th Anniversary". The calendar contains useful geophysical information such as rising/setting times of the sun and moon, tide and monthly climatological normals and extremes. Telephone numbers and web-sites for enquiries on weather and other geophysical information are also listed in the calendar. This beautifully printed and attractively presented calendar would be an excellent gift to friends and relatives for Christmas and the New Year. The calendar is now on sale at HK$32 a copy at the Government Publications Centre (Tel : 25371910) and the Hong Kong Observatory Resource Centre (Tel : 29268250). |
