Heavy Rain on 3 September 2001
Heavy rain necessitated the issuance of Amber and Red Rainstorm Warning Signals by the Hong Kong Observatory today (Monday, 3 September 2001). The heavy rain was rather widespread and between 80 and 120 mm of rainfall were recorded over the urban areas, Sha Tin, Tsuen Wan and Tsing Yi.
