The Observatory provides ambient gamma radiation levels on GIS-based Platform

The Observatory enhances the content of the GIS-based regional weather webpage with the provision of ambient gamma radiation levels in Hong Kong on the map. The webpage can display the ambient gamma radiation levels measured at the 12 radiation monitoring stations of the Observatory together with other weather information, facilitating the public to appreciate the effects of natural variations of weather to ambient gamma radiation level.
