Automatic weather station for the Wong Tai Sin District opened

The automatic weather station for the Wong Tai Sin District was officially opened on March 27. The new weather station is located at the Nan Lian Garden in Diamond Hill. It provides for the Wong Tai Sin District the latest temperature readings round-the-clock. The public can access the information from the Observatory's "Regional Weather" webpage
( http://www.weather.gov.hk/wxinfo/ts/display_graph_e.htm?wts&menu=otherwxi&rwx&addbar ) or PDA webpage ( http://pda.hko.gov.hk/regione_wts.htm). They can also call the Observatory's "Dial-a-Weather" hotline at 187 8200.
