More school and organizations joining the "Community Weather Information Network"

The number of members of "Community Weather Information Network" (Co-WIN) continues to increase. Up to 22 December 2014, there are totally 147 members. The new members of Co-WIN are:(a) Caritas Chan Chun Ha Field Studies Centre St Paul Campus (Islands District) (code 144)
(b) Institute of Environment, Energy and Sustainability (IEES), CUHK (Shatin District) (code 145)
(c) Kellett School, The British International School in Hong Kong (Kwun Tong District) (code 146)
(d) Institute of Future Cities, CUHK (Shatin District) (code 147)
The Co-WIN is a collaborative effort of the Hong Kong Observatory, and the Department of Applied Physics of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The aim is to gather weather information collected by weather stations in schools and organizations, and make it available on the internet for use by the public after carrying out appropriate data quality assurance.
Members of the public can access the network's website of "Community Weather Information Network" (http://weather.ap.polyu.edu.hk/index.php). (The website has also been linked to the Observatory's homepage at http://www.weather.gov.hk/contente.htm).
