New "Tsing Yi" Station

The Observatory has established an automatic weather station at the Tsing Yi Sewage Treatment Plant. After a period of trial operation, the station officially becomes operational today (20 April). It is named as the "Tsing Yi" station, replacing the existing weather station on the rooftop of Ching Pak House in Cheung Ching Estate in the provision of temperature and relative humidity for the area.
