A new look of "My Post Card" with Chinese New Year theme
13 January 2016
The Observatory’s "My Post Card" webpage launched for the first time before last Christmas has been well received by the public. We now launch a new Chinese New Year look of the webpage to greet the festive season. Let’s continue sending regards to our beloved ones to celebrate the coming Year of the Monkey (Figure 1).
The set of electronic postcards retains the five precious cloud pictures hand drawn by our ex-Director, Mr. Graham Heywood (the first Director of the Observatory after the Second World War). It is packaged with festive elements including the newly designed stamps with Chinese New Year greetings. Please visit “My Post Card” webpage (Figure 2 or directly via the link http://kids.weather.gov.hk/V2/postcard/epostcard.htm) to produce your own special postcard by selecting your favourite setting and writing your greetings. It is only a simple step to save and then download. Send it to your families and friends via electronic means like email, WhatsApp, Instagram, WeChat, etc. This webpage will be available till 22 February 2016. Don’t miss it!
