Mobile Version of Educational Resources with Quiz Games

The Hong Kong Observatory launches the mobile version of the Educational Resources webpage today (18 March) to facilitate on-the-go access via smart phones or tablet PCs to some general knowledge on meteorology, geophysical science, radiation, etc. Online quiz games are also released together with this mobile version of Educational Resources webpage with a view to further promoting public education in weather and related topics.

The first issue of the quiz is about climate change, which is in line with the theme of the World Meteorological Day 2015 on "Climate Knowledge for Climate Action". New issue of the quiz will be launched around every two weeks and each carries different themes. You are welcome to test out your meteorological and scientific knowledge, and also win "Weather Family" online badges. If you have successfully completed the quizzes on a number of issues, you may receive a set of "Changeable Clouds" booklets or cloud jigsaw bookmarks in a paper frame as a souvenir.
