Update of "MyWorldWeather" on Android Platform

20 January 2016

The Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) launched a new version of the mobile app "MyWorldWeather" today (20 January 2016) for the Android platform. With the collaboration of the Italian Air Force National Meteorological Service, "MyWorldWeather" incorporates support for Italian language.

The MyWorldWeather is a mobile app featuring the World Weather Information Service (WWIS) under the auspices of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). It was the world's first app providing official city weather forecasts worldwide for people on the move. At present, official weather forecasts for more than 1,800 cities supplied by 134 WMO members are available on the app. The app now supports ten languages, including Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Korean, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, and Spanish.
