An update of "MyObservatory" released for Android and Windows Phone Platforms

The Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) released an update of the "MyObservatory" for the Android and Windows Phone platforms today (14 October 2014). The new version features worldwide earthquake information (Figure 1 and 2) and support delivery of news on nuclear event. Meanwhile, users of the Windows Phone can also enable the rainfall forecast notification in the new version. A notification message will be sent to the user whenever rain is forecast at their actual or selected location in the next two hours. The "MyObservatory" is a free app. Members of the public are welcome to download it at the following links (Android; Windows Phone).
