MyWorldWeather on Trial on Android Platform and with Multiple Language Support

To further promote the use of the "MyWorldWeather", the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) today (17 January 2013) launched a trial version of the "MyWorldWeather" on Android platform , which supports multiple languages including English, Spanish and Polish. Meanwhile, the respective iPhone version of the app is also available in these languages.

The "MyWorldWeather" features the World Weather Information Service under the auspices of the World Meteorological Organization. The mobile app was first launched on iPhone platform in October 2011. It was the world's first ever weather service providing official city weather forecasts around the world for people on the move. At present, official weather forecasts for more than 1,600 cities supplied by 133 WMO members are available on the "MyWorldWeather."
