The Observatory Promotes Popular Science Articles via Weibo and Twitter

Commencing today (6 February 2012), the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) promotes popular science articles on the Weibo and Twitter websites regularly. These articles cover various interesting topics on weather phenomena and services provided by the HKO such as geophysics, etc. It is hoped that the public would gain a better understanding on weather and the services of the HKO.

Currently, real-time weather warnings, weather reports related to hazardous weather, earthquake messages, as well as news and sidelights of the HKO are delivered on these two websites.
