"Cool Met Stuff" : Huangmaozhou - protected Hong Kong over 30 years

Thirty years ago, the Guangdong Meteorological Bureau and the Hong Kong Observatory established an automatic weather station on an island about 50 kilometres south of Hong Kong, Huangmaozhou. This episode of "Cool Met Stuff" introduces the Huangmaozhou automatic weather station which protected Hong Kong over the past thirty years.
