The Fifth Assessment Report of IPCC Working Group I

The Working Group I of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change recently released the Summary for the Policymakers (SPM) of the Fifth assessment report (AR5), reaffirming that global warming is unequivocal. According to the SPM, it is extremely likely that human influence has been the dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid-20th century.

The Observatory is organizing a talk "The Fifth Assessment Report of IPCC Working Group I", summarizing the latest scientific findings of the AR5 in layman terms. The talk will cover an introduction of IPCC, review process of the assessment report, evidence of climate change and projections of future climate in a global perspective.
