Compliment on the Observatory's work: Email from the public (6 February 2004)
(Email from the public received on 6 February 2004)
TO DIRECTOR, HK OBSERVATORY I look at your site almost every day (mainly because I have a leaky roof and need to know when to prepare!) and find that it is very easy to use and read and the predictions are usually accurate - and even if the forecast changes, it is generally very similar to what you predicted. This has been a marked improvement from when I first arrived in HK 16 years ago, and for years afterwards, when it seemed that the forecast was more often wrong than right. Of course, technology has changed and perhaps makes the weather easier to predict. Non-the-less, I am grateful for your service and wish to thank you and congratulate you. Yours sincerely Elaine Pickering |
