Description
The software is designed to facilitate regular access by subscribers to email weather updates from the HKO. This software will automatically check the user's email account regularly and retrieve the latest email warning message from HKO. When a new warning message is received, a window with audio alarm will be displayed to alert the user.

Before installing the software, please read the readme file.

 

Download
  1. Download the 'warn_checker.exe' file to your PC.
  2. 'warn_checker.exe' is a self-extract zip file.
  3. Click here to download.

 

Installation
  1. Run the downloaded file 'warn_checker.exe' by clicking it from the Windows Program Manager.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to extract all files to your specified folder (default folder is "C:\temp\warn_checker\").
  3. Run the installation program by clicking the 'setup.exe' file from the specified folder.
  4. During the installation procedure, you may be requested to restart Windows. If this happens, please run 'setup.exe' again after Windows restarts.
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
